Pack the Polls

Boosting voter turnout has been a priority in my last three campaigns because I believe voting shapes Banff’s future. I aim to inspire all eligible voters, especially young adults, to cast their ballots and I hope to see higher participation than in 2021.

Municipal Election Day is Monday, October 20, 2025

Advance Voting
Banff Town Hall - 110 Bear Street, Banff, AB
Saturday, October 11, 2025 - 10 a.m. - 2 p.m.
Wednesday, October 15, 2025 - 3 p.m. - 7 p.m.
Thursday, October 16, 2025 - 10 a.m. - 2 p.m.


Who Can Vote
Individuals can vote in the Town of Banff municipal election if they:

  • are at least 18 years old;

  • are a Canadian citizen;

  • live in Alberta and your place of residence is in Banff on Election Day (October 20, 2025);

  • provide one of the authorized pieces of identification, for example, a driver’s license, an Alberta ID card, or a Canadian Passport. 

What You’ll Need to Vote
You’ll need proof of your identity and current residence.

Any of the following documents are also acceptable forms of ID:

  • Bank or credit card statement or personal cheque.

  • Government cheque or cheque stub.

  • Income or property tax assessment notice.

  • Insurance policy or coverage card.

  • Pension plan statement of benefits, contributions, or participation.

  • Residential lease or mortgage statement.

  • Statement of government benefits (for example, employment insurance, old-age security, social assistance, disability support or child tax benefit).

  • Utility bill (for example, telephone, public utilities commission, television, hydro, gas, or water).

  • Vehicle ownership, registration, or insurance certificate.
